Two-Factor Authentication for LinkedIn
I am trying to enable LinkedIn 2FA based on Watchtower recommendations.
When you enable 2FA on LinkedIn, it does not present a QR code. It provides a key to use on an Authenticator App like Microsoft. How do I add code into 1Password to get my OTP?

Thanks for the reply. What kind of a device are you using? The same general process will work for 1Password on Android and iPhone as well. You can find more information here:

Is there a way to do the same without a computer ?

That works; the solution was too obvious. :) Thanks

Hello easymatics! 👋
Thanks for the question. You can add that code to 1Password by following these steps:
- Open the 1Password for Mac app.
- Click on the item for LinkedIn and click Edit.
- Click + add more and then click One-Time Password.
- Paste the code from LinkedIn into the field labeled
one-time password code
. - Click Save.
1Password will now generate the six digit one-time password for your account. You can read more about using 1Password as an authenticator here: Use 1Password as an authenticator for sites with two-factor authentication
Let me know if you run into any issues.
