Huawei Mate 10, Android 8.0
Hi I have a Huawei Mate 10 Lite running Android 8.0.0. Google Play is installed and supported but 1Password app cannot be installed. Google play says that 'this app cannot be installed on this machine' Memory is sufficient. Any thoughts?

Hi there @DaveWest
The current System requirements for 1Password are Android 9 or later, so your Android 8 device won't be compatible, which explains the error message you were seeing in the Play Store.
You'll still be able to use 1Password.com in your browser if you're using an incompatible device.

Thanks Grey, is the apk for 1password 7 available from the support site? Or is this not recommended?

Hi @DaveWest,
We wouldn't have an APK available for 1Password 7 for Android as 1Password is distributed exclusively through the Play Store.
With that said, if you had installed 1Password 7 for Android on one of your devices via the Google Play Store at some point, you can install 1Password 7 for Android on your current device if you sign into the same Google account via the Play Store by following the steps below:
- Open the Google Play Store
- Tap the profile icon in the top right (usually your initials)
- Tap Manage apps and devices
- Tap Manage
- Tap Installed, then tap Not Installed
- Tap 1Password 7 - Password Manager, then tap the green Install button.
If you haven't previously installed 1Password 7 for Android on a device previously, while the app would no longer be available, you can use 1Password.com in your web browser as mentioned by Grey above.
I hope this helps.
