Add one tag to many items

I want to add the same tag to a group of items, and I'd rather not have to do it one item at a time. In versions older than 7 the solution given was to select the items you want to tag and then drag them over to the LHS bar to the tag you want to add to each item. That no longer works. How is this done in 1Password 7?

    Thanks for the question. You can add a tag to multiple items by selecting and dragging those items to the tag in the sidebar.

    With the launch of 1Password 8 for Mac, 1Password 7 for Mac is no longer supported and isn't being actively tested or updated. If adding tags to items is no longer working for you in the older version then I recommend upgrading to 1Password 8: Upgrade to 1Password 8

    If you already have a 1Password membership then the upgrade is available at no additional charge. Let me know if you see the same issue in 1Password 8 after upgrading and I can dig deeper.
