Safari and Chrome extension 'Reveal Password' not working

When unlocking 1Password in the browser (both Safari and Chrome based browsers) the Reveal Password button doesn't work. Nothing I've done has gotten it working again. Makes it difficult to enter password to unlock 1Password, especially in conjunction with another bug where it no longer uses TouchID

    The extension is not prompting for TouchID anymore, only allows me to unlock by using password. The app still uses TouchID. The extension will be locked even when the app is open and unlocked. Quite annoying.

    Before digging into this further, can you confirm that you're using the latest version of the browser extension?

    If updating the browser extension hasn't changed anything, can you try the following steps to reset the connection between your desktop app and browser extension?
    1. Right click the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar and select 'Settings'.
    2. Under General, turn off the "Integrate with 1Password app" setting.
    3. Close all of your browsers completely by right clicking its icon in the macOS Dock and selecting 'Quit'.
    4. Open the 1Password app, left click '1Password' in the top left corner and select 'Settings' (or 'Preferences' - depending on your macOS version).
    5. Ensure the following settings are turned on:
    - Under the General section ensure 'Keep 1Password in the menu bar' is checked.
    - Under the Browser section ensure 'Connect with 1Password in the browser' is checked.
    6. Right click the 1Password app icon in the macOS menu bar (top right corner near the clock) and select 'Quit'.
    7. Re-open the 1Password app and unlock it.
    8. Open your browser once again, sign into 1Password as before, and turn on "Integrate with 1Password app."
    9. Test using 1Password again.
