Cannot Change Items Icon anymore (8.10.20 Linux)

Running KDE Plasma 5.27.9 (Wayland)
Due the broken Wayland support since 8.10 I switched back to xwayland and since that I cannot change Icons of Items anymore. I simply do not get any filepicker dialogue.

PS: Why is there a upload File Icon in the Board when every extension you chosse gots refused "File extension not allowed" even .log or .txt files.... So no log attachment it is then.
