icon population improvement

First of all, incredible work having a majority of icons populate perfectly, bravo and thank you so much 1Password Team! 🦾 Not all pass managers have this and it's a detail I love.

90/400 of my logins, license, etc didn't populate with icons though and I spent hours and found the icons either from the website, app package contents, or duckduckgo image search, then had to convert or edited about half of them.

I'm curious for when the icons do populate, how does 1Password know to do this? It go to the internet or? -- I'm just curious.

For the one's that didn't populate though I have a collection of icons now, is this something that 1Password would be interested in?

    Yes, 1Password uses its own online database of rich icons for your items, and you can find out more about this here: About rich icons and your privacy.

    If you want to submit any icons, you can email us at support@1password.com and we can take a look at them to see about adding them to the database. :)
