Why has Google Chrome suddenly changed 1Passowrd icon to post-it-note from regular 1Password icon ?

turned on pc this morning, windows 10 64 bit machine, and 1password icon is a shown: a post-it-note looking thing! 1 password still works fine but its unnerving, is something corrupt in chrome? we did 3 separate uninstalls of chrome, no luck...thoughts?

    This is odd indeed and I can assure you it's not expected behaviour.

    Does the icon display persist if you restart your Windows PC once more?

    Could you try creating a new Chrome profile and installing the 1Password extension there: Use Chrome with multiple profiles - Computer - Google Chrome Help

    Is this icon being displayed in the new Chrome profile? Make sure to not sign in to any Google accounts in the new profile.
