Annoying new bug with 1Password for Mac:
1Password for Mac 8.10.24 (81024044)
Chrome = 120.0.6099.234 (Official Build) (arm64)
Extension = 2.19.0
MacOS 14.2.1 (23C71)

Once the extension locks, unlocking it using keyboard shortcut doesn't work - I need to press the icon in Chrome for it work. Only after unlocking it from there (using thumbprint), then the keyboard shortcut works.
This is a new bug (worked fine before).

1Password Version: 8.10.24
Extension Version: 2.19.0
OS Version: MacOS 14.2.1
Browser: Chrome 120.0.6099.234

  • Hello @classz! 👋

    I'm sorry that the keyboard shortcut to unlock 1Password in Chrome isn't working. As a first step, I'd like you to try uninstalling and reinstalling the extension:

    1. Open the following page in Chrome: chrome://extensions/
    2. Under "1Password – Password Manager" click Remove and follow the prompts.
    3. Reinstall 1Password in the browser: 1Password – Password Manager

    Then try the keyboard shortcut again. If that still doesn't work then can you confirm that you're using Shift-Command-X as the shortcut?

    Thanks - This was addressed and fix in the email correspondence I had with the support team - was related to the fact that 1P was not shown in OS menu, so it's a known issue where 1P doesn't stay open / in the background

  • Thanks @classz
