MacOS Sonoma and 1PW version 7? Works or crashes?

Can anyone confirm or deny that 1PW v7.x on MacOS 14 ie Sonoma, will or will not function? I mean only the main desktop app, I know Safari extension isn't working properly. I don't want to update my MacOS and suddenly have to also update my 1PW stuff. V7 is fine for me, I like local sync. I hate electron apps.

I also don't need the standard disclaimer from Agilebits people about "v8 is the current one blah blah".. I get it, I don't need the prompts to update.

TIA

Short answer: it may. I've yet to see any reports where it does not function.

That could change tomorrow if Apple releases an update and it breaks compatibility. That said, it's not actively tested against modern OSs. It's only receiving important updates. Please keep that in mind.
Other than that, I don't see any reason you couldn't update your OS. Even if it did stop working, you'd still be closer to using 1Password 8 if needed because the newer OS would be supported by 1Password 8.
