1Password for Mac 8.10.28, 81028034, on PRODUCTION channel
Safari Version 17.4.1 (17618.1.15.111.8, 17618) on macOS Monterey 12.7.4
1Password browser extension version 2.22.1, 22200104, on STABLE channel

I've been able to create and save passkeys for PalPal and Amazon in Safari, but when I try to log in I get a competing "Sign In" dialog from Safari itself:

I do have "Stop competing “sign-in with“ pop-ups in the browser" enabled in the settings:

When I click "Cancel" in this pop-up, the web page changes, and the 1Password passkey dialog no longer works.

This is working properly for me in Chrome.

OS Version: 12.7.4
Browser: Safari

    Hello @jandubois! 👋

I'm sorry that you're unable to sign in to Amazon and PayPal using a passkey. I can't reproduce the same issue with Amazon in Safari on my own Mac and I'd like you to double-check a few settings:

    1. Make sure that 1Password is set as a default password manager in Safari and that the built-in password manager is turned off: Turn off the built-in password manager in your browser
    2. Click on the  in the menu bar and then clicking System Settings.
    3. Click Passwords.
    4. Click Password Options.
    5. Turn off "AutoFill Passwords and Passkeys".
    6. Restart your Mac (don't skip this step even if the other settings are all okay).

Then try to sign in with a passkey again: Save and sign in with passkeys in your browser

If that still doesn't work then let me know and I can help further.
