Autofill does not work in Galaxy S24 Ultra

Hello, Suddenly, 1Password's autofill doesn't work on my Galaxy S24 Ultra.

The autofill menu does not appear on the site that originally worked, and it works intermittently. (Really sometimes)

I was definitely using it well, but it doesn't work suddenly. The update is presumed to be the cause.

Currently, I am using Samsung Internet, and both firmware and app are the latest versions.

Of course, I tried rebooting and reinstalling, and re-activating autofill after deactivation.

Oh, I checked a bit more and realized that the problem started with Samsung Internet v25.

Of course, autofill didn't work perfectly before, but since v25, it's completely broken.

I'm not sure if 1Password can do anything about it, but I've sent an error report to Samsung.
What's crazy is that since Samsung Internet v25, I keep getting a popup asking me to use Samsung Pass, which drives me crazy 😂

  • Hello @creek! 👋

I'm sorry that you're unable to fill logins into website on your Samsung Galaxy phone. Colleagues of mine have been able to reproduce an issue where filling into the Samsung Internet browser isn't working after a recent update and it looks like the issue affects all third-party password manager, not just 1Password.

There's a thread on the Samsung forum here: Autofill with third party password managers no longer working in Samsung Internet Browser since release of v25.0.0.41 - Samsung Community

Are you able to fill into other browsers such as Chrome or Firefox? Or do you see the same issue there as well?

    Hello, @Dave_1P !

Thank you for your quick response.
Other browsers have no problem and only occur in Samsung Internet browsers v25 and v26.

I send a bug report to Samsung and received a reply today.
This will be patched as soon as possible.

    Thank you 😀
