1Password Prompt Unavailable
FSAFEDS recently swapped to use login.gov as method to sign in. Using the FSAFEDS app, I am redirected to the login.gov sign-in page and there is no prompt for 1Password to autofill my u/n or p/w. I have to open 1Password app to copy password and manually type in my email for sign-in. Is this known issue?

Hello @InvestedUser! 👋
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble filling a login into your l
ogin.gov
. On the iPhone and iPad, AutoFill is specifically handled by iOS and 1Password only provides the data for the experience. When you tap on the username or password field on
login.gov
do you see "Passwords" appear above your keyboard? If you don't then I would like you to make sure that you have turned on AutoFill to work with 1Password:- On the Home screen, tap Settings.
- Tap Passwords > Password Options.
- Turn on AutoFill Passwords and Passkeys.
- Select 1Password.
Then try to fill your login again using this guide: Use 1Password to fill and save on your iPhone and iPad
If that still doesn't work then make sure that you're using the latest version of both iOS and the FSAFEDS app, the current versions are iOS 17.4.1 and FSAFEDS 3.1.0. I was able to fill a test login using these versions on my iPhone, if AutoFill still doesn't work then are you using an iPad by any chance?

Hi Dave.
I have verified that I have Autofill turned on using 1Password.
I do have the current versions of iOS and FSAFEDS.
3.When I open the FSAFEDS app, there are two routes to login. The link at the bottom in IMG_1takes me to the website using my browser where I do see the "Passwords" option, IMG_3. The top link in IMG_1takes me to a login page where I do not see a "Passwords" option above my keyboard, IMG_2.

Thank you for the reply. It looks like iOS AutoFill isn't detecting the fields on the in-app page on your iPhone. Since AutoFill is specifically handled by iOS, 1Password is unable to control which fields get detected and filled in another iOS app since we only provide the data for the experience.
I'd recommend that you try uninstalling and reinstalling the FSAFEDS app, if that still doesn't work then I suggest reaching out to Apple Support so that they can help you troubleshoot further on why iOS isn't detecting the login fields on that page on your device.
Let me know if you have any questions.
-Dave
