New entries do not show until 1Password Quits

Reopening this previous issue with the same name because I have documentation to support the problem now. Here are SS to attest to the issue. This is a new login I created and it does not show in 1Pass but show with Autofill. Restarting 1P completely fixes the issue.


1Password Version: 8.10.34
Extension Version: 2.23.3
OS Version: 14.5
Browser: Safari

    I'm sorry that you're not seeing a newly saved login item in the 1Password for Mac app. I've removed the screenshot from your post as requested. Just so that others are aware: the screenshot showed 1Password in the browser suggesting a login on a webpage while the desktop app didn't show that same login when you searched for that login item's title.

    So that I can better understand that situation can you tell me the following:

    1. How did you save/create the item? Using 1Password in the browser? Or the 1Password app on another device?
    2. Are you able to reproduce the issue on demand? Or is it random?
    3. If you can reproduce the issue then, when the item doesn't appear in the desktop app, do you see the item when you log in to your 1Password account on 1Password.com (in the browser, not the app).

    1. I created the Item using 1Password in the Browser.
    2. I have reproduced this issue many times in the past per the previous post. https://1password.community/discussion/135829/new-entries-do-not-show-until-1password-quits#latest
    3. I will have to test and get back to you.
