Popups in 1PW are (to me) VERY, VERY annoying. How can they be stopped?

  • Hello @lerbi! 👋

I'm sorry that 1Password is getting in the way. To help me better understand the situation I'd like to ask you to take a screenshot of one of these pop-ups and attach it to your reply:

Make sure that nothing sensitive is visible in the screenshot. I look forward to hearing from you.

Here's the screenshot. It is autofill that bothers me so much

This is an example where I don't want to enter my name but rather another persons', but 1PW keeps throwing up this, usually right in front of where I want to enter information.

Thank you for the screenshot. You can turn off the inline suggestion menu by following these steps:

    1. Open your browser.
    2. Right-click on the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar and click Settings.
    3. Click Autofill & save.
    4. Turn off "Show autofill suggestions when a form field is in focus".

1Password will no longer show suggestions by default, you'll need to click on the 1Password icon in the field for the suggestions to appear.

    I hope that helps! 🙂

Another screenshot attached. Where is "Autofill & Save"?

Never mind, I found it. Thanks for your help

I'm glad that you were able to find the option. For anyone else stumbling onto this thread in the future: you'll need to access the settings page for 1Password in the browser, not the settings page for the desktop app. 🙂
