Galaxy 23+ Auto fill not working

Just setup my new phone, Galaxy 23+ and 1password is only offering up Auto fill passwords about 10% of the time. I've had to resort to opening 1password app and copy/paste in/pw into Edge browser. Phone and apps are all to to date.

I've ensured autfill is enabled in 1password settings.

  • 1password version - 8.10.34
  • Edge browser version - 126.0.2592.86

BTW, this was not an issue on my previous Android phone, Galaxy Z Flip 5.

    I'm sorry about the issue you're running into with 1Password's Autofill on Android. I understand 1Password is selected as the Autofill service in your device's Settings app. If you're using a Samsung device, is 1Password enabled as the Preferred service? Here are the steps under step 3: Use 1Password to save logins and sign in to apps and websites on your Android device

    After that, let me know if you see an "Open 1Password" prompt above the keyboard on https://autofill.me/form/login-simple using the Edge browser.

    I can confirm that I have followed all the steps listed, including #3 and ensuring that 1Password is set as the preferred service under Androids Passwords, Passkeys, and autofill settings.

    When I click on the link you provided in Edge browser on my phone I do get an "Open 1Password" box above the keyboard.

    Thanks for the additional information. May I ask which websites you are experiencing this issue on? Do you have any problems with Autofill on specific apps or only using the Edge browser?

    Of course now that I've tried out a few different sites the passwords do seem to be popping up via 1password.

    Unsure if there was an update to the app or it coincidentally appears to be working more reliable.

    Will continue to monitor and post back any specific sites I find that aren't working.
