How can I generate a password with a specific number of characters and include/exclude Special Characters?

Hi @Stu707! You can generate a custom password using the extension's item-independent password generator with the steps below:

1. Click the 1Password icon in your browser toolbar and unlock if prompted.
2. Click the small icon to the left of the New Item button, then Password Generator.
3. From the dropdown menu next to Type, choose a password type.
4. A list of settings should appear below, and you can customize it to your liking.
5. Select Copy or Autofill once you're happy with it.
6. If you lose a generated password or would like to see all of the passwords you've created from this menu, you can select Password Generator History from the bottom of this same window.

You can also find similar password customisation settings by clicking Create a New Password underneath the password field of an item in the 1Password 8 desktop app when in Edit mode.
