@Dave_1P This appears to be fixed in the BETA build of 1Password for Mac 8.10.38 (81038059), so I'm using this (successfully) for now, instead.

I'm happy that things are better with the beta version of 1Password. Let me know if the issue comes back at any point.

I'm having trouble using Touch ID. I recently removed my fingerprint from macOS Settings and re-added it and now I can no longer use my fingerprint to unlock 1Password.

I managed to fix it by removing all fingerprints and adding only one. Thanks to the forum and your time.

I am also facing this issue with 1Password mac 8.10.52. If I restart the Mac, the Touch ID will resume working. Is it a bug?

@diegolinke – There isn't a known issue that I'm aware of which would account for that behaviour, so send us an email at
support@1password.com
and we can look into what's happening in your specific case. :)0
