TouchID on mac stopped working

touchID on mac stopped working after adding a fingerprint. tried everything on prior threads like this one - https://1password.community/discussion/135021/touch-id-on-macbook-pro-not-working-after-upgrade-for-1p7-to-1p8

Still no luck. deleted fingerprints and readded them. No problems unlocking mac with touchid. Even tried resetting one password. Please help.

    I have been having this problem toofor a couple of weeks. But I have only one fingerprint registered. 1Password for Mac 8.10.36, 81036049, on PRODUCTION channel.
