Multiple Device Oddities

I set up 1P for an elderly neighbor. Three devices (1 MacOS, 2 IOS). There has been some wierdness getting password changes to populate, meaning if I change one of her passwords and record that change in 1P, it does not always populate to the other devices. I have never seen this before. And obviously I am not in front of her devices, so this may be a one off. Not sure. All I know is that I changed her iCloud password the other night on her phone, and it did not update on her iMac.

  • Hello @billdavies! 👋

I'm sorry that your neighbour isn't seeing the same passwords on all devices. 1Password is designed to make passwords and any changes made available on all devices almost instantly. I recommend that you make sure that they've disabled the built-in password manager on all devices just in case they're looking there and seeing an older copy of their passwords:

If that doesn't help then, the next time that the issue occurs can you tell me the following:

    1. What kind of device was used to make the change to the password?
    2. On what kind of device(s) is the change not being seen.
    3. Can your neighbour see the change when they log in to their 1Password account on 1Password.com (in the browser, not the app)
