1Password autofill drop-down hidden behind macOS keychain drop-down

I can't see the 1Password autofill drop-down options on websites because macOS keychain's drop-down obscures them. Been like this for a long time. Is there a workaround?

  • Hello @JacquesC! 👋

Thank you for reaching out. I don't recommend using the built-in password manager and 1Password at the same time. The recommended path here would be to migrate all of your passwords to 1Password, if you haven't done this already, and then turn off the built-in filling options in Safari:

    1. Move your iCloud Passwords from Safari to 1Password
    2. Turn off the built-in password manager in your browser

Let me know if you run into any issues.

I have the opposite issue. On certain forms the 1P icon is blocking the contact dropdown from MacOS and so I can't access the contact details. How can I temporarily hide the 1P icon so I can access the system native contact drop down?

Thanks for reaching out. You can close the 1Password menu by pressing the esc key on your keyboard. Alternatively, you can turn off 1Password on the page in question, until the next time that you restart your browser, by following these steps:

    1. Right-click on the page in questions.
    2. Choose 1Password > Hide on this page.

    I hope that helps. 🙂
