1Password autofill "choose login" menu extends into device status bar and navbar
On Android (Pixel 8 Pro):
- Open an app with login screen and tap the password field
- Wait for IME autofill suggestions to pop up in keyboard
- Click the 1Password icon on the far right
The 1Password "choose login" screen appears. The items above the search bar (X button, account name, account profile picture) show up behind the status bar and camera cutout, becoming unclickable.
The list of logins also goes under the navigation bar. This isn't an issue when using gesture navigation, but when using 3-button navigation, the navbar obscures most of the "New Login" button.
I suspect this is related to edge-to-edge being enforced in Android 15.

Hello @CerebralDatabank! 👋
I'm sorry that you're seeing the Autofill overlay being rendered into the status bar on your Android device. The team has been able to reproduce the issue on our end and an internal work item is open with our development team to investigate this further and get it fixed. This does indeed seem to be related to Android 15's new edge-to-edge enforcement feature.
One workaround that can help is to run your browser in Split Screen mode and set the browser as the bottom section. This will render the Autofill UI only at the bottom half of the screen: See two apps at the same time on Pixel phone - Pixel Phone Help
I know that it's not the best workaround but I wanted to share it in case it helps.

Hi Dave, sorry for the late reply! I appreciate the workaround, but my problem is mainly that it looks bad/unprofessional; I don't use those top row buttons often 😊
In one autofill instance today, I saw what appeared to be a new, fixed UI. It has a gray search bar, with the autofill suggestions in their own gray card, and "New item" being a small button at the bottom of the card instead of at the bottom-right of the whole screen as a big floating action button. Strangely, I tried again with different apps & websites, different keyboards, but it's always back to the old one now. I can only assume it was a server-side A/B test gone wrong 🤔
Anyway, looking forward to the fix!

Thanks again for reporting the issue. Our development team is currently testing a fix in the beta version of 1Password for Android: Use 1Password beta releases
Let me know if that doesn't resolve the issue for you. 🙂
