"Sign in automatically after autofill" option missing

Logging into Github using the drop-down item in the web site's username field. As soon as I select the item, 1Password fills out the username, submits, fills out the password and submits, fills out the TOTP code and submits, all by itself. It only does this on one machine (which was wiped and the OS installed from scratch a few weeks ago), but not on any of the other machines where I use 1Password.

I can see where some people might find this behaviour convenient, but I don't want it to happen. Automatically populating the fields is one thing, but automatically submitting is something else. I do NOT want 1Password to automatically submit anything, I want to be able to review it all.

Apparently there's supposed to be a "Sign in automatically after autofill" setting somewhere, but I've looked through every screen in the app's settings dialogs, and I'm not seeing it anywhere.

Was this setting removed? If so, how do I disable this "auto-submit" behaviour?

1Password Version: 8.10.50
Extension Version: 8.10.48.25
OS Version: macOS 15.0
Browser: Brave

    Hello @KG4ZOW! 👋

Thanks for reaching out! You can turn off automatic sign in by following these steps in the browser, not the app:

    1. Open your browser.
    2. Right-click on the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar and click Settings.
    3. Click Autofill & save.
    4. Turn off "Sign in automatically after autofill".

    I hope that helps. 🙂
