Integration with Arc browser not working

    What a shame... paying for a service like this... for months this request has been open, many people complaining but no real answer from the team. 1Password is an innovative product that pushes security forward. On the other hand, it only supports old, boring browsers...
    For a few days now, 1password integration for Arc on Windows was no longer working... needed to reinstall main app & extension. It's not the first time it happend. so what? Forced to go back to Chrome? Edge? NO. What we want is to be able to use our favorite and innovative browser.

App integration should definitely be working in the Arc browser and if it isn't work reliably then that is something that the team would like to look into. Can you tell me a little more about the issue:

    1. Which version of 1Password for Windows and 1Password in the browser were you using when you ran into the issue?
    1. When the issue occurred, did you see any specific error messages?
    2. How often have you ran into the issue?

    Hello Dave,
    1 > I don't know. Issue is now resolved
    2 > no error message. only extension saying that it couldn't connect to main app
    3 > with Arc on Windows, I think it's the 3rd time.
    Next time I will check versions before reinstalling / upgrading.
    Note that it happends just after an arc update.
    BUT : I want to stop using Arc to focus into ZEN Browser. That's why I posted into the zen thread.

    Thanks for the reply. If you run into the app integration issue in Arc browser again then, before reinstalling anything, I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from 1Password in your browser:

    Sending Diagnostics Reports (browser extension)

    Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support+forum@1password.com.

    With your email please include:

    • A link to this thread: https://1password.community/discussion/149122/integration-with-arc-browser-not-working#latest
    • Your forum username: lepetitverger

    The diagnostics report will allow us to see what's going wrong and work on a fix for the issue. You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number.  Please post that number here.  Thanks very much!

    BUT : I want to stop using Arc to focus into ZEN Browser.

    I've let the team know that you'd like to see the ability to use app integration with other unsupported browsers, like Zen Browser, be introduced to 1Password for Windows in the future. Thank you for the feedback!
