DNS-lookups to telemetry-domain although telemetry is disabled

Hey there,
I have telemetry collection disabled for my personal account, still I see requests to telemetry.1passwordservices.com.

@ag_tommy wrote in another thread that these kinds of lookups should not happen if telemetry is disabled – they are happening for me though.

    Hello @norysang! 👋

Thank you for reaching out. *.1passwordservices.com is one of 1Password's domains and it is normal for the desktop app to communicate with this domain and its subdomains. telemetry.1passwordservices.com is specifically part of 1Password's privacy-preserving telemetry system. Telemetry data is only collected if you've chosen to participate.

I'd like to learn a little more about the network data that you're seeing so that I can try to reproduce the issue on my end:

    1. Which app or appliance are you using to view your network data?
    2. Have you chosen to participate in telemetry in the past?
    3. Do you see the same sort of network data from other devices where you're using the 1Password app?
    4. When did the connections start appearing in your logs and roughly how many do you see?
