Cannot login to app, but can login w/ browser extension (MacOS & Chrome).

I have a user that is able to login to 1Password's Chrome extension. However, same user & laptop cannot login to 1Password v8.x application. This started with the release of v8.x


1Password Version: 8.x
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: MacOS 14.x
Browser: Chrome

    I'm sorry that one of your users isn't able to sign into the 1Password app. Can you have them try this alternate method to add their account to the app:

    1. In your browser, sign in to your account on 1Password.com.
    2. Click your name in the top right and choose Get the Apps.
    3. Click "Add your account directly" and allow your browser to open 1Password. You'll see your account details in the app.
    4. Enter your 1Password account password and click Sign In.

    If that doesn't work then can you tell me the following:

    1. What specific error message do they see?
    2. Are they using an account secured by an account password and Secret Key? Or by SSO?

    1Password v8.x application. This started with the release of v8.x. Only 1 person out of many is afflicted with this malady.
