Help Request - Desktop app opens behind active windows (Mac)

Whenever I launch the desktop app from the menu or tool bar it will open behind my active windows. I have not been able to find a way to change my Mac or 1Password settings for it to open in front of active windows like all other apps typically do.

I saw some previous discussions about this but was not able to identify answer to the problem. Any advice is appreciated!
