Understanding "Understanding Sharing"

I read understanding sharing, and I still don't understand :). (http://blog.agilebits.com/2013/05/14/understanding-sharing)
1) Why do we have to worry about "secure channels". Why not just encrypt the shared info?
2) Why do we have to reshare items every time a change is made?
3) Why do we even have to share every item? Since the dawn of time people have used some sort of sharing group

Hi @Kensho,
Good questions. :)
- The data is encrypted, but every copy of 1Password can decrypt it. So it is more like "obfuscated" in a sense.
- It's like an email file attachment. If you send a copy of a file to someone, they don't get any changes you make unless you send them the updated copy of the file.
- I'll pass your feature request for sharing a group (i.e. folder or all the items with a certain tag) along to the developers. Thanks! :)
