FireFox: Drop down username/password entry - no 1Password access

Some web sites use a drop down window to request credentials (username and password).
When this happens I am unable to access the 1Password browser tool.

Mac OS 10.8
FF 23
(I would have attached a screen shot, but I don't see how to do that...)

I thought that it might be an issue with a different auth mechanism. Thanks for the reply. I changed my workflow to open 1Password first, copy the password then when the auth window comes up I just have to paste it. Cheers. -- Sam
