25-35 second lag when putting computer to sleep.
Since upgrading to the most recent beta, [4.0.1b4 using 10.8.5 on mid 2011 iMac] there is now a 25-35 second delay when putting my computer to sleep. This only occurs if I have any browser running the extension or 1password mini open. With all versions closed and quit I am able to put it to sleep immediately. Anyone else experiencing this? Is this a known issue with a fix coming? If not I will have to uninstall as this is a major nuisance.

In the last week or so, I've also started getting very long (10-20s) delays when I put my iMac to sleep. Previously it was only 2-3s.
After reading this post I tried disabling 1P mini and quitting 1P to see if it made any difference, but it didn't - so I'm not even sure if it's related to 1P in my case.

I just tried > Sleep menu and it seems to turn off the screen immediately. Do I need to check anything else in this case?

Hi, my Mum was reporting a similar delay with sleep but it turned out to be a bug with Chrome that is still yet to be fixed in the stable channel: https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=132336
It has exactly the same symptoms being described here, and once I fully quit Chome on my Mum's mac I was able to put it to sleep without a delay.

Hi,
I have the same behaviour on my Macbook Air. It really looks like the cause is Chrome and not 1Password 4, since I can reproduce the lag with 1Password mini closed and all 1Password browser extensions deactivated. The strange thing is I really did not experience this phenomenon before upgrading to 1Password 4, must be a coincidence...0 -
Hi guys,
Thanks for the details. I'm glad it's narrowed down to Chrome. We also have some reports where the sleeping Chrome can also cause the 1Password extension to crash when waking up the computer.
Hopefully, they'll get it fixed as soon as possible.
