Want to change from MAS to Agile Store version
FYI I don't use iCloud sync for 1Password but Dropbox only.
As with so many software I own, again I find out that non MAS versions are released earlier and makes me feel I prefer the non MAS version. Any possibility to get this arranged ?
Does the non MAS version make use of the Sparkle update mechanism ?
Last but not least I always had the info that 1Password 4 would be MAS only. So if i knew on forehand the existence of both non MAS and MAS I would have wait.

Hi @mgsoutman,
Apple handles all the updates in the MAS and can auto-install updates for you in the background (in Mavericks/10.9). With that in mind, they don't allow different type of auto-updaters at the MAS.
MAS updates are slower because we have to wait for Apple to approve the updates, which typically requires a week or two, sometimes longer depending on other major events like a huge OS X update. Since our website version do not have to be reviewed, it is released much earlier.
