That's because they are the same thing. 1Password mini powers the front-end of your browser extensions, so it's the same unified interface for all browsers, which makes it easier for us to support and maintain. However, 1Password mini can't integrate like the browser extensions can since they go into the browser and can modify data for like filling in, submitting and also auto-saving.
You can hide 1Password mini from showing up in the menu bar via the 1Password Menu > Preferences > General but it'll keep showing up for the extension's usage in the center of your screen.
