1password agent keeps asking for access to the keychain
I'm not seeing this anywhere in the forums. Each time I reboot, I get the request for 1Password Agent to access the keychain. I click "Always Allow" each time. I'm running Snow Leopard (10.6.8) and 1Password 3.8.21 (build 32009).
Any ideas?

Hi @StevenWadas,
Do you do have Preferences > Security set to 'Never Ask for Master Password'? There is a bug in the OS X keychain that could be causing this. Please try unchecking that setting and see if things behave a bit better for you :)

Is there a way to address the root cause of the keychain bug, or is it something we have to live with? Does version 4.0 of 1Password trigger this same issue?

Hi @darkpath,
Unfortunately, because this is a bug in the operating system, we can do very little to address it on our end, so if you want to leave the 'Never Ask for Master Password' enabled, this might be something that you do have to live with.
This issue is not present in 1Password 4, because the Master Password is not stored in the OSX keychain. :)

I had the issue with 1Password 3 - but just upgraded to 1 Password 4 and it continues. Is there some legacy job running? how do I find it and stop it?

Hi @mikefj,
It does sound like there might be a bit of version 3 left on your system. Could you please send us a Diagnostics Report?
http://learn.agilebits.com/1Password4/diagnostic-report.html
Then attach the entire file to an email to us: support+forum@ agilebits .com
Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.
A short note here once you've sent the Report in will help us to keep an eye out for it. :)
Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!
