Installed 1P for windowns but can't sync to dropbox data from 1P for Mac/IOS
I searched the forums for answer! Really!
I have been using 1P for Mac/IOS for over a year. Finally got around installing on my work Win7 laptop. Installed and went to open up data folder in dropbox. I have two keychains in there. My master password failed to unlock either one? Seems like that should have worked.
By the way your directions to back up data from IOS are out of date. There is no database in settings in the new 1P that I can find.

As you probably know, your master password is stored only within 1Password. We have no way or resetting or restoring it, because such a method would be a “back door” through which someone could get unauthorized access to your 1Password data. Is it possible that you wrote your master password down and tucked it away somewhere safe?
You might also try the tips in the "What if I've forgotten my master password?" article in the "FAQ" section of the user's guide, accessible from the Help menu and in the Support area of our web site.
