1password extension doesn't work with CoolNovo (chromeplus)

Extension installs OK but shows a red dot on the icon. Can't sign in, says "connecting 1", connecting 2" etc.
Using Windows 8.1. Everything works fine in Chrome.

Any ideas?

We've seen this problem even in Chrome, on occasion, but we're having a difficult time reproducing it (critical to figuring out what causes it, as you can imagine).

Just to make sure I understand, is CoolNovo based on the stable-channel release of Chrome?
