Ok so now I get this error and it takes me to this page ... http://learn.agilebits.com/1Password4/Mac/en/KB/browser_validation_failed.html

Which says .. oh too bad Chrome does not support code signature validation. WHAT???

Nothing about how to get this working in my browser again, etc. Can anyone tell me how to make this product work like it use to in Chrome (actually run and fill in information)?

Thank you

    @Kbiker2011—

Check "About Google Chrome" from the Chrome menu. If it says that you have to quit and relaunch the browser to complete an update, do it. That corrected the problem when it arose on my system today (or maybe it was yesterday).

The error message is not particularly informative, but it's better than no error message at all, which is what happened every now and then during beta testing. Whenever 1Password 4 would stop auto-filling in Chrome, I would check the About Google Chrome box. Far more often than not it would inform me that a restart was needed, and on those occasions quitting and restarting Chrome solved the problem without fail.

Agilebits should update the documentation page that you cited to add this advice. It might also be a good idea to clarify on that page that, while 1Password does not support the open-source Chromium browser, it does fully support Google Chrome. The language on that page is accurate, but some users (like yourself) will find it confusing.

I saw the same page, which is why I'm here, but it's important to note that it says Chromium doesn't support code signature. Chromium isn't the same broweser as Chrome, but the test-bed that Chrome is based upon.

    https://code.google.com/p/chromium/wiki/ChromiumBrowserVsGoogleChrome

Doesn't help your (our) problem, but the reason it's failing is not because you're running Chromium.

OMG ... how foolish of me not to restart my browser. Thank you. It appears to be working fine now and come to think of it, I did do an update to 1Password this morning and my browser was not restarted.

    Thank you again

I'm having the same issue but Chrome has been restarted. Does this version of Chrome (31.0.1650.57) cause the issue?

    Hey guys,

Is anyone still having issues with this? It looks like yours has been resolved through email, @gr37,

I started having this issue today. It was possibly the first time I restarted chrome since the 31 update.

Restarting chrome / 1password or reinstalling the extension does not resolve the issue. I can still use the chrome extension to put passwords into the clipboard / save new sites, but autofill does not work.

Are there any other steps I could take to identify the issue?

    Hi, @jacekklach.

I'm sorry you're also having trouble with 1P4 form filling in Chrome. Some steps you can go through to get this resolved are: here (post #10).

    I hope that helps!
