Mini app: cannot sign in in Chrome or FireFox

Initially I was getting an error that old extensions were installed. I uninstalled extension on each browser and reinstalled. That seemed to go well. Now when I try to sign into the mini-app, I get a countdown (or count-up, actually) saying "Connecting:" and the number. It never connects. Same thing happens in both browsers. Any suggestions? Thanks.

  • @captenaj Sounds like you still have the old version 3 extension installed.

    Try:

    Uninstall 1Password 3 browser extensions

    And to get the new extension:

    Download 1Password 4 Browser Extensions

    That worked. Thank you. The problem was I was continually directed to a page that had the old browser extensions, and there is nothing on the page to indicate it was for the 1Password 3. This caused a lot of frustration and seems like it could be easily prevented. So far, I'm not a great fan of 1Password.
