Version 4.1 vs 4.1.1 -- What are the differences?

Quick Question...

I just updated my MAS 1P from 4.0.8 to to 4.1 and decided to read the release notes.

There I noticed that the current version is 4.1.1 and that there was a 4.0.9 version which I never had access to.

So, can you help me with a couple things. First, as I mentioned to start...what's the difference between 4.1 and 4.1.1.

Second, and more importantly I suppose, how should I best make use of these release notes in the future since it seems the code is a bit forked between Website and MAS versions.

Version 4.1 and version 4.1.1 are pretty much the same. There are slight differences (website version has in-app updater, etc), but I think the different version numbers are mostly used to differentiate the two distribution channels.

    Mac App Store: 4.0.8, 4.1

    AgileBits website: 4.0.9, 4.1.1

I agree that the Release Notes page is a little bit confusing with the two channels. Basically, you should just look at the versions that have the little Mac App Store icon beside them. I think that AgileBits could make the Release Notes a bit clearer though.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. Improving release/version differentiation is in our tracker. :)
