I would also like to confirm this:

I currently have the "1Password Mac + Windows Family Bundle". Mac is on the 3.x version and Windows in 1.0.x version. If I upgrade now to the latest version of the family bundle (OSX and Windows), I will get 1PW 4 for the Mac now. Windows will still be on 1.0.x. Will I get a next major Windows release ( 2.0? or 4.0 what ever you plan to call it) for free or will I need pay extra for the new Windows version?

As noted in posts #2 and #3 above, upgrading now to the 1Password 4 bundle will entitle you to a free upgrade when 1Password 4 for Windows is released.
