How does iCloud sync work on 1Password 4?

I use iCloud to sync 1Passwords' data. I want to restore my Mac and re-install 1Password, so would I be able to get my multiple vaults restored seamlessly from iCloud after I do that? Or are the vaults created locally and will be lost?

    Hi @Romanesco,

I would like to apologize for the delay in responding to you here but we have been a bit overwhelmed since the launch of 1Password 4 for Mac. We're all working hard and putting in extra hours to get back to our usual snappy responses and we really appreciate your patience.

Each vault's data is stored locally and a copy is stored in whichever sync solution you select in Preferences > Sync. Please keep in mind that iCloud is currently only able to sync the primary vault, so any secondary vaults will have to be synced to the cloud using Dropbox or stored locally/on a USB drive using Folder Sync. You might also want to export your database as a .1pif to an external drive as well just as a precaution. :)

If you'd like some more detailed instructions for any of this, please let me know!
