Using 1password 4 and 1password 3 on different computer any problem.

I just got a new mac laptop with the latest operating system but I use my mac desktop with an older operating system and 1password 3 on it will this be a problem?

Congratulations on the new computer - new toys are always so exciting! :) 1Password 3 for Mac and 1Password 4 for Mac can certainly work together. Keep in mind that you will need to sync your keychain using Dropbox. Please let me know if you'd like any help getting things set up.
