1Password 3 --> now 1Password 4
Mac 10.9.1 & 1Password Version 4.1.2.BETA-4 (412004)
I originally purchased a 1Password 3 family license through agile bits on 6/20/2012. I've been using the beta versions for some time. When 1Password 4 beta came out I updated my 4 Macs with that version.
I reinstalled 1Password 4 beta on one of my Macs a couple of weeks ago. It now shows that I have 17 days left. Buy Now!
I have one email from 6/20/2012 with my license information from the original purchase of 1Password 3. When I try to add the license information from the 1Password drop down window, it takes me to finder to specify a "license file". I understand from info on the web site that you now use a "license file" rather than the original method of cut/paste license string into the 1Password drop down license option.
How do I proceed to license this computer?

Hey @spduffens,
A 1Password 3 license cannot be used in 1Password 4. Since version 4 was a major upgrade, it is a paid upgrade. You can find out your upgrade options by entering your version 3 license key at the AgileBits web store. Or if you're happy to continue using 1Password 3, that's fine too. :)
