Cannot Create a New Login in Chrome Version 31.0.1650.63 m

When I go to a new website I have to manually enter all my data from the computer based software to add password / user name (1.0.9.340). When I click on the plus symbol in Chrome nothing happens.

Windows XP Pro sp3

Thanks,
NoL39

    I'm sorry you're having that problem, NoL39.

If you don't mind my asking, what's the full version string for Chrome and the full version string for the 1Password extension you have installed in Chrome?

    Thanks!

When I click on the plus symbol in Chrome nothing happens.

    This button needs...

    1. a login page, and
    2. at least one non-empty password

If you're not on a login page, or if you haven't entered a password, then there is nothing for the plus button to do.

    Hello,

    chrome: Version 31.0.1650.63 m

    1password: Version 3.9.20.99

It will not add the pw/username automatically, I have to do it manually.

    Thanks

What URL are you having this problem with?

On any website, it doesn't matter I have to add it manually.

@NoL39, can you confirm that (a) you're on a web page with a login form, (b) you enter your username and password manually, (c) you submit the form, and (d) 1Password does not display an offer to create a new Login item for you?

@svondutch‌ That did the trick for me. The + button really needs to be more helpful when it can't do anything.

@markwoon, I'm glad things are working for you!

If you don't mind telling us, what was it that did the trick for you, and how might the "+" button have been more helpful?

    Thanks for any feedback!
