MAS Version - why 2 folders in Containers?

Hi
I had the trial version of 1P4 from Agilebits. My data is in Cloud
I purchased 1P4 from the MAS store and had some difficulties getting the software and the Safari browser extension working correctly (involved deleting all files/folders/extensions etc several times and a myriad of re-boots. Hopefully all is well now (says he hopefully)!

I do think that it would be a good idea to ensure that guidance exists to aid future converters - It was very much trial and error on my part - and I hope it is all OK now.

I do however have a question that I hope someone can explain

I read elsewhere on these pages of the different locations within ~/Library that the Agilebits & MAS versions were stored (and ended up deleting the Agilebits location in Application Support to get things working correctly).

In 'Containers' however, on installation of the MAS version, there appear to be 2 folders created (2BUA8C452C.com.agilebits.onepassword-osx-helper and com.agilebits.onepassword-osx-helper). I was expecting the first but not the second - and they look more or less identical! Even more surprising is that the contents of both these folders contain a myriad of alias folders to other Mac locations Desktop, Movies Music etc???????

Are both these folders required?

Thanks

Patrick

The myriad of aliases is by Apple's design, nothing to do with AgileBits. You will find that all App Store items have this layout in the Containers folder of your Library. Every time I have looked for the significant files of such a program I have found it inside com. ... . plist/Data/Library, most often in Application Support, though I suppose they could be elsewhere.

I don't know about the two Container files, though.
