1Password 4 vs. 1password3

I have upgraded to version "4."
Version 3 is still on my computer.
Can I trash 3 or is it required for 4 to work properly?

    You can safely uninstall 1P3 - it's not needed once you have 1P4 installed and working. If you use an app cleaner when you uninstall be a little careful it doesn't remove any 1P4 files. In case you want more information, there's a useful thread here (on a legacy board) about uninstalling 1P3.

    After I was satisfied that version 4 was working properly, I dragged version 3 to the trash. I haven't had any trouble.
