Can't unlock vault with new Master Password

I can (could trigger this repeatedly just a few minutes ago by using the CoreAnimation shortcut shift-ctrl when triggering the animation. Don't know if that is the root cause of OP's problem though. However, when doing this I encountered another bug (related?):

I just changed my main vault password on my last computer so that I have the same (dice ware password) on all my devices. The password got saved, I locked and unlocked the app a few times. But then this happened and I can no longer access my vault, the password is no longer recognised:

I reset to the last backup to get access to my passwords again. Though I have a backup of the broken (or whatever happened) agilekeychain for diagnostics purposes.

Is there a good way to do this without spending too much time juggling backups and restores?

I'm glad you were able to get access to your 1P data again by restoring from a backup.

Because of the nature of this issue it would still be best to email us a Diagnostics Report for further followup. It shouldn't be happening and we'd like to determine the cause and fix it.
