Extension on Safari 5.1 begun opening new tabs in new windows???

Yesterday for no reason whatsoever my extension for 1Password 3 in Safari 5.1 decided that when i open a new password it now does it in a new window completely, rather than opening it in a new tab like it used to. Nothing has changed at my end, and I cannot figure out how to change it back to that way it was. This is very annoying and a deal breaker compered to the iCloud password keeper now. Want to keep using 1Password but unless I can fix this I won't be. Can anyone help?

Please check in Safari Preferences > Tabs and ensure that your setting is 'Open pages in tabs not windows' is not set to 'Never', and that your extension settings look like this:
