it's a silly little thing.. but....
using the 1Password browser add-on thingy in Firefox... it shows up in the top toolbar, just like it's supposed to do... but only on the first window and it's tabs.
As soon as I open a second window, there's no "little key" in the toolbar.
Is this the way it's supposed to work?

Hi @mufngruf,
Thanks for bringing this to our attention! The browser extension (the "little key") should persist across multiple windows. I have been unable to reproduce this bug on my end, so I'd like to know just a bit more about your set-up here: what version of 1Password, operating system and Firefox do you currently have? Just out of curiosity, do you have multiple extensions installed in Firefox? I'm just wondering if the key might be hiding in these new windows.

I have 1Password 3.9.2, running Snow leopard on an intel imac using the latest FF (27.0.1) browser.
I do indeed have several extensions within the browser - but recently, in order to get rid of another anomaly, I cleared them all out and began again, testing for behaviour as I did each one.
Obviously, 1Password was the first in line and I noticed the same behaviour I have just reported..
HOWEVER, it doesn't do it in Safari...
I shall continue to try things at my end.
btw - isn't there a way to subscribe to a thread?thanks

here's another tidbit of info...
If I simply click on a link (say - in an email) and it opens a new window to display the contents, there's no key in the new window... but if I right-click on the link and choose the option to open in a new window, it does so... and THAT window has a key....why on earth would that be, eh?

Hi @mufngruf,

You can change your profile settings, including notifications here: http://discussions.agilebits.com/profile/edit
Now, unfortunately, I am still unable to recreate this bug here. Let's try reinstalling the extension again and see if that resets things:
Please follow these steps:- Open Firefox.
- Click on the Tools menu, then Add-Ons.
- Click the remove button next to the 1Password extension and remove it.
- You also need to remove the extension database. Follow these instructions: https://mikhailt.clarify-it.com/d/4zpylm
- Restart Firefox and visit the following page: https://agilebits.com/extensions/mac/index.html
- Click the download button next to the Firefox icon, and follow the instructions on the new page to install the extension.
I'll keep my fingers crossed that this works for you, if not, we'll do some further investigating!
