Need to link to my present 1Password account - new computer
I received a new computer and am trying to link to my existing account. I thought I needed to buy a new license, but maybe I did not -- there are no passwords (as I used to have). Please advise.

There's no "1Password account," @chas77hall.
To get your data onto your new computer you can either copy the .agilekeychain folder from the old one to the new one, or (if you're using Dropbox to share and sync your 1Password data) you can just install Dropbox (using the same account) on the new computer and let Dropbox copy your 1Password data from your private dropbox.com web site.
Once your .agilekeychain folder is present, use the File > Open 1Password Data Folder command to locate and select that .agilekeychain folder on the new computer.
