Parallels and 1P4 Extension Oddity
Hello: I use 1P on my Mac and sync via Dropbox ... had to install Windows so I got the 1P version of Windows ... but every time I install the Chrome extension on the Windows version of Chrome two things happen: (1) the extension correctly installs and works; but (2) the extension also gets included on my Mac version of Chrome. But the Mac version results in a message saying that I've installed an outdated version of the extension. And if I delete the new Mac extension, it also results in the Windows extension getting deleted -- even if I close the Windows version of Chrome and then delete the new Mac extension. Maybe this has something to do with my Google gmail syncing, but before I start messing up my syncing I wanted to benefit from the group wisdom. Thanks.

You probably have Chrome Sync turned on. Here's how to fix this.

Thanks, but there seem to be different versions of the extensions; i.e. the Windows extension is a 3.9 and the Mac is a 4.1. Well, as long as it works ....

Okay, I see that the 3.9 is the latest Windows extension. Thanks, again.

@mobius32x, you can sign up to work with 1Password 4 for Windows, currently in beta development, here: https://agilebits.com/beta_signups/winnewsletter.html
I believe that will allow you to re-enable Chrome's "extension-sync" feature.
