Password fill not working
I just got 1password for mac. running mavericks and for some reason it's not working for my credit card log in. I have 4 different credit cards (with the same bank) and it's not filling in my user name, only the password. So basically, I'm having to type in the username in order to log in. This pretty much defeats the purpose of having this app. Luckily, I'm on the free trial. Can anyone let me know if there's a way to get this thing to work? Otherwise this simply isn't going to work out for me. for $50 I expect not to have to manually type in anything. Also, the Browser Extension for Firefox is not working. It keeps downloading it to Chrome. Any way to get this right?

Thanks for taking the time to contact us. I'm sorry that you are having some trouble. What's the URL of the site where you are having some trouble?
To install the extension in a different browser you need to make sure to open the extension installation page in the other browser. Here is the link for the 1Password 4 extensions if you want to open it in Firefox: https://agilebits.com/browsers/index.html
Normally, we recommend installing the extensions from 1Password's preferences or the menu bar:
If you need to install in another browser, you can copy and paste the URL from your default browser. But in this case you may find it easier to just install using the link above. :)
Please let me know the URL for the site you're having trouble with, though. We'd love to get everything working well for you.
Cheers!

Thanks for responding to my questions. The site I'm having trouble with getting the user name and password fill is https://online.citibank.com/US/JPS/portal/Index.do and also citicards.com. Does Citi Bank have some kind of password manager block or something? I have 4 different accounts with Citi and all of them do the same thing. It fills in the password but doesn't fill in the username so I end up having to type it in manually.
As for the Browser Extensions, I had no problem setting up Chrome and Safari but Firefox is not working. I press the button that says "not using chrome"? select Firefox and it takes me right back to google. I have the little key icon on Firefox but when I select a login, jumps over to chrome and logs me in from chrome not Firefox.

Hi @cezrac,
Thanks for the followup URL info. If you manually save a new Login item for a troublesome site do you get any different results using it? And are you using regular or beta versions of the browser extensions?

I'm sorry you're still having trouble downloading the 1Password extension for Firefox. Are you opening the 1Password Extension page directly in Firefox, then clicking the Big Green Button there? Is Chrome being launched after doing that and downloading its version of the extension instead of Firefox's? Do you have any download manager software installed that might be causing this behavior?
Is there any difference if you download directly using this link?
That should download using any browser, then can be manually installed in Firefox (e.g. by dragging the file into a window/tab).
Please let us know how that goes. :)

the manual install did the job for Firefox. The issue has been fixed for the most part. In order for 1Password to auto fill the username and password on the site in question, I have to sign out and close the tab for it to work to sign in to another account. Not a big deal. Just a work around I'll have to get used to. Thanks for the help, product is coming in handy.

You're welcome, @cezrac. I'm glad to hear you've got the Firefox extension installed and that 1Password is coming in handy for you… and hopefully handier if we can help you resolve any lingering issues with autofill. :)
Are these two of the pages that are giving you trouble with autofill?
- https://www.citi.com/credit-cards/creditcards/CitiHome.do
You mentioned:

Are you trying to sign in using different accounts for different sites at the same time? Is autofill working for the first sign in on one site, then failing for the sign in on another site until you've signed out of the first site?
Can you describe a simple sequence of steps you're doing and let us know at which step(s) 1Password doesn't work how you expect it to?
Thanks for helping us better understand this problem so we can get it fixed!
